if i save up $62.50 than i can get a plane ride because mom will pay the rest of the fare (full fare 250 bucks whooeee) and i'll fly in an old biplane for 30 minutes possibly by a russian combat ace pilot! notice that i clearly stated possibly.
One of the purposes of this plan was to help Mr. E appreciate the satisfaction of saving up to earn something. Since a plane ride is $250 and I would be riding along, we figured he should save up half of his half, or $62.50. We thought this would take at least a few months. But, in an effort to get him started, I gave him two sandwich-sized bags of coins that I thought might be $20 or so. Well, no. These bags contained the grand amount of 40 some odd dollars. Now he is only like $10 shy of his $62.50. Great.

that flight was so much fun! I wish bennett would come but he's scared.
